THE SOCIETAL TRENDS WITH FAMILY

I will like to do my post on husband, wife, and children. These three people come together to form families. Husband and wife who are one of the most important relationships within the household were between the husband and his wife. In ancient societies cultures, there are some practices of monogamous marriage although a man but not a woman, could have other sexual partners outside the marriage, he had only one legitimate wife. Only her children were fully recognized as heirs to his property, and this issue of the man having children outside the family sometimes causes chaos and anarchy to some families when it comes to sharing of properties. I came from a society whereby most men usually cohabit and have children with other women before they get married to their legitimate wives and this comes with a story my grandma shared with me some years ago about a man with his family and according to the story, this man was a businessman and he is full of riches and achieves much property he married a wife whom he had Ten children with her and due to her business trips, he had other twelve children with different women outside his marriage. However, when he was alive though he is rich he did not take any full responsibility for these children outside the marriage but he only cares for his legitimate wife whom he has married children. Now throughout his life, he never tells his wife that he has other children somewhere, but he has given good education to the welded wife children and forget about those children outside the marriage. Now, these twelve children outside they all grew up, and because there was no parental care for these children in their infancy some turned into street children so, therefore, they grew up, and out of this twelve children three of these women were able to nature their children to become good children and nine children some turn into smokers, prostitute, arm rubbers, and some are on drugs. Nevertheless, this man lives his entire life without taking care of these children he dies at the age of 78 years. And he dies without even sharing his property will to his legitimate wife's children, on the day of his funeral all these twelve children heard about the death of their irresponsible father so they all show up with their mothers and they all identify themselves as sons and daughters of the deceased man nobody in the man family neither the wife nor the children knew that their father has other children outside so they did not believe the story of these women and their children. Furthermore, this man was buried and after the burial, there was this man who was a friend of the deceased man he came to testify to the entire family that their son, a father, and husband, he indeed had twelve children outside his marriage during his early days when he was on his business trips the family of the deceased doubt all the claims so, therefore, the kingsmen has called for order in other to settle this crucial and they all come into agreement that to get a factual truth of this women and the testimony of the deceased friend all the children will have to see a medical doctor for a DNA test in which that was done and all their test result came out positive. However, all the family has come to the conclusion that those children belong to the family. Now it has reached the point of sharing the property of their father and this is where the problem comes from all these twelve children make an allegation that since their childhood their father did not take care of them so they will all take a greater share of the property the married woman and her children also says that have been with the deceased all their entire life so they will take the greater share of the properties this argument has turned into a fight between the first wife children and the born outside children and this has caused chaos and anarchy in the entire community the kingsmen has to come in again to settle this issues by share the all the properties 50/50 among all the children before there was a wave of peace among them. I asked my grandma why is she sharing these family crises with me and she, inasmuch as you are a boy now you will grow and become a man someday and when you are married to start up your family you strive to be faithful with whoever will be your with and never hide anything from her so as there will be peace in your home even when you are not around.
